Job Description:

Account Sales Manager with the responsibility of driving market share/installed base footprint, direct sales revenue, and key R&D project engagements to meet annual targets and ensure company is positioned on the right projects with the right products to meet all future growth and profitability targets. Also works with the Global team to ensure we maximize the use of the knowledge base from OEM engagements to maximize market share and revenue on a global scale. This position reports to GM Semiconductor OEMs, and will require up to ~50% travel.


  • Work closely with key senior level customer personnel to establish customer key performance measures, needs and operating procedures within this account.

  • Develop in depth customer profile and organizational detail to ensure all areas of the account are serviced appropriately.

  • Drive key early engagements in all relevant product groups to maximize footprint and market share.

  • Drive KPIs relating to internal knowledge sharing to ensure maximum dispersion of key learnings from OEMs.

  • Provide necessary reports to the company to allow tracking of progress, highlighting of issues and areas needing management attention.

  • Continually monitor projected sales volume, delivery and special requirements at customer’s sites.
  • Modify forecasts as required to ensure accurate demand planning and account budgets are met.
  • Manage the account and staff cross- functionally with appropriate personnel at each of the key account sites including operations, service, applications and product support as well as sales and marketing.
  • Manage the day to day activities of company personnel at the key account sites to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and support.

  • Ensure quarterly technical reviews and exchanges occur with key customer teams for all product segments. These will include regular roadmap presentations and voice of the customer reviews.

  • Interface with the Semiconductor and Display Business Group worldwide to ensure open communications of problems and new opportunities at the customer or in the field.

  • Develop in-depth understanding of semiconductor processes manufactured or used by the key account and provide new product development guidance as appropriate.

  • Develop relationships with key internal personnel who will supply product and logistical support to the key account personnel to ensure smooth operation and maximum on time performance and overall customer satisfaction.

  • Responsible for employee safety awareness and training. Ensure all company’s safety procedures and standards are upheld. Become familiar and practice any additional safety requirements imposed by the key account at which you are resident.

  • Develop personal growth and training program with OEM GM to improve skill base and business knowledge to allow multiple avenues of advancement within the company.

  • Responsible for compliance with all relevant legislation: i.e. OSHA standards, EPA regulations, etc.


  • Degree level education in mechanical, electrical or chemical engineering or in physics.

  • Must have proven leadership skills and be able to work within an empowered team framework effectively.

  • Proven ability to conceive and implement strategic plans and achieve the goals set out by them.
