Job Description:

Client is a global leader in instrumentation solutions for the Semiconductor, Aerospace, LED, Electro-Optics and other high-tech markets.  They are looking for a dynamic, aggressive Account Manager with a track record in opening doors and building profitable relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a large and diverse customer base ranging from local sites of large multi-national accounts to smaller privately owned entities

  • Perform hands-on demonstrations of instrumentation and software products

  • Direct sales efforts to achieve corporate sales and revenue goals

  • Develop and facilitate close relationships with customers and prospects in the field

  • Develop and maintain accurate account records, action plans, and sales forecasts

  • Use and maintain CRM account and opportunity records on a daily basis

  • Share insights on new product or service opportunities based on continuous customer interactions and relationships

  • Travel estimated 50-70% within region

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or the sciences
  • An advanced degree or MBA is a plus
  • >5 years instrument and territory sales experience into the Micro-Electronics and Semiconductor Market
  • Strong technical background
  • Salesforce CRM and IFS ERP experience preferred
  • Experience with structured selling methodologies such as Miller Heiman
  • Key account management experience strongly preferred
  • Residential address in the assigned territory (ME, VT, NH, RI, MA, NY, CT, PA, DE, MD)
