Job Description:

The Project Leader Strategic Business Development drives strategic partnerships with OEMs and end users to develop ion beam tools, and takes an active lead on strategic projects within the Ion Microscopy Innovation Center. Established business plans with clear milestones to be regularly reviewed with primary stakeholders.  This position reports to General Manager.

 Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drive and develop the Semiconductor market segment by developing and fostering strategic partnerships
  • Supporting with systematic project management methods by leading strategic projects
  • Responsible for the development of an early customer tool for 300 mm wafers and parallel application development
  • Responsible for materials, presentations, and communications to internal and external stakeholders
  • Definition of future products including specification and features
  • Proposals and presentations to management to initiate projects
  • Evaluate new analytical options for the market segment semiconductor
  • Backup of ongoing product activities with clear business plans
  • Support company in workshops and conferences
  • Provide sales training when required

 Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Focus on Ion Beam and/or Scanning Electron Microscopy knowledge
  • Technical as well as business background (Ph.D. or Master’s Degree preferred, MBA a plus)
  • International work experience 
  • Experience in project and product management
  • Experience in design of efficient business processes
  • Experience in conflict management and meeting/workshop moderation
  • Highly structured and reliable work ethic
  • Flexible in working hours and ability to travel both domestically and internationally
